Grand Hotel de l'Opera - BW Premier Collection

The hotel is in an ideal location - walking distance from all the major sights and convenient to public transportation. The public parking garage is underground just across the street and the hotel offers a discount on the normal rate. When you walk out the front door and step across the street you are in the beautiful square adjacent to the Capitole. It is stunning. The public rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Our room was seriously red - the walls, carpet, draperies, sofa - and might easily have been overwhelming but was so well done we found it warm and comfortable. We had a spacious sitting room and separate bedroom each with a TV. The wi-fi was very adequate. The bathroom was satisfactory with nice amenities including plush robes and slippers. Good breakfast available.

Location was superb. Reception area was beautiful and it was nice that it was tucked away, off the square. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and looked after our luggage and transferred it to our room. The bed was vey comfortable and the room was spacious. Reception staff also looked after our bags between check out time and early afternoon, when we took a taxi to the airport.

Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Olympic torch was traveling past Hotel on Friday afternoon. They opened up two suites that face the Capital Square so guests could watch from the balcony. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom clean and modern. Staff also helped us get cabs for in-town travel. We had an amazing time and will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful decor and furniture. Exceptionally clean in all areas. Outstanding service from the moment we walked in. The manager could not have better in any way, extremely helpful. On seeing my wife was on crutches he immediately offered and brought a chair for use in the wonderful shower room. Very comfortable room. We ate in the on site Brasserie and the food was stunningly good. We will definitely stay here again during our regular trips to Toulouse.
